PARENTING AFTER PARTING

 

 

 

 

Over 150,000 children are affected by divorce and separation each year and around a third of all relationships end in divorce or separation.  It's not easy for parents or children to go through the changes that breaking-up can bring. 

 

Kent Family Mediation in partnership with Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association) are offering important workshops to inform and support all parents who live apart.  The 4 hour workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss:

 

 

what children are feeling and saying about separation and divorce in their lives,

current research on the impact of separation and divorce on children,

practical ideas to help children and parents adjust to the changes in their lives,

how to communicate effectively, and

how to deal with less than ideal situations.
